Sub-Districts will be held on March 13th, at Wellington High School. All weights and divisions start at 9:00am. Weigh ins: Friday 3/12 from 6pm-8pm and Saturday 3/13 6am-7:30am.
Brackets are posted and can be found on Track Wrestling.
The Ark City Takedown Club has 51 wrestlers entered in sub-districts.
Please turn in all release forms for sub-districts to Jennifer Collins ASAP. If you need a copy of the release form, please click here. Print, sign, and return to Jennifer.
All
Ark City Takedown Club singlets need to be turned in to either a coach or
Jennifer Collins as soon as the wrestler is finished competing for the season.
ARK CITY TAKEDOWN CLUB
Welcome to the official home page of the Ark City Takedown Club. The club began in 1970, to provide a program through which Ark City youth could learn the sport of wrestling and be prepared to compete at all levels. We pride ourselves in a longstanding tradition of superior wrestling in Kansas and our goal is to continue to inspire the youth of Arkansas City to excel in the sport.
The Ark City Takedown Club is one of the oldest clubs in the State of Kansas and is a member of USA Wrestling. Our list of Champions continues to grow and we hope to continue this winning tradition in 2010 and beyond.
A program of excellent coaching, the very best in competition, and an exposure to travel and tournament situations, provide our kids with the foundation for a successful career at all levels.
At Douglass, Ten Competed & Ten Brought Home Medals
Ten Ark City Takedown Club Wrestlers competed at the Douglass Tournament held on Saturday, February 20, 2010. All ten of them brought home medals, five of them were declared champions.

Kings of the Ring
On Saturday, February 13, four Ark City Takedown Club members were crowned kings,
several others placed and received medals. Kael Pappan was awarded the outstanding
wrestler in the 6 & under age division.

Cliff Keen Tulsa Nationals 2010
Eight Ark City Takedown Club members competed in the Cliff Keen Tulsa Nationals Tournament held on January 22 & 23rd in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
