ARK CITY TAKEDOWN CLUB
Welcome to the official home page of the Ark City Takedown Club. The club began in 1970, to provide a program through which Ark City youth could learn the sport of wrestling and be prepared to compete at all levels. We pride ourselves in a longstanding tradition of superior wrestling in Kansas and our goal is to continue to inspire the youth of Arkansas City to excel in the sport.
The Ark City Takedown Club is one of the oldest clubs in the State of Kansas and is a member of USA Wrestling. Our list of Champions continues to grow and we hope to continue this winning tradition in 2007 and beyond.
A program of excellent coaching, the very best in competition, and an exposure to travel and tournament situations, provide our kids with the foundation for a successful career at all levels.

Jim Ramirez, an NCAA National Wrestling referee from Arkansas City, hosted a wrestling clinic on Saturday, June 7, 2008, at the Ark City Rec Center. Nathan Morgan, a three-time Big 12 Champion and an All-American wrestler from Oklahoma State University, ran the clinic. There were twenty kids from Ark City, Wichita, Garden Plain, and Caney that attended.
